Debuting a new band next Friday
Hello friends!
I've been excited to announce this one for a while... Next Friday 9/10 I've organized a concert at Jarvis Square Pottery in Rogers Park that will feature the debut of a new band called the Invisible Trio. The group consists of Stephanie Alma (vocals), Greg Kelchner (guitar) and myself (drums). We spent a lot of time jamming together and doing live streams this spring and developed a really great chemistry I've been anxious to let loose into the world. It's exciting for me because this group is all about creating sonic environments to exist in, which translates much better in person than over a livestream. I couldn't imagine a better place to have our first gig--an intimate space full of art and equipped with a nice sound system to really transfer the vibrations. I'll be kicking the night off with an opening set of my tunes performed by Lyn Rye, Kyle Paul and myself and then the epic journey will begin. I hope you'll consider joining us.
Weather permitting , there will be indoor and outdoor options for enjoying the show. The pottery shop itself is an intimate room with nice acoustics, and we will also be putting a speaker out in the garden for those who would prefer outdoor seating, or even just want to get some fresh air without missing a beat.
There is a suggested donation of $5-$20 per person and this is a BYOB event.
