Concert tomorrow, new music today
Happy Friday friends!
Just a reminder that tomorrow night's concert at Unity Park is still on!
Kyle Werle and I will be debuting our Plutonian Research Society Project, which we've been working on in one way or another since we started experimenting with running my drums through synthesizers last year.
It's shaping up to be a beautiful night full of interesting textures, grooves, and, most importantly, a fun outdoor hang.
The event starts at 7pm, and we go on around 8:30.
Unity Park is located at 2636 N Kimball in Logan Square.
We also released a mixtape of the sounds we've been putting together. It's two long DJ-style mixes of our improvisations; kind of llike a short movie for the mind.
Journey to the year 2530, where mysterious organizations are conducting unsanctioned research out of a facility on icey Pluto.
We'll be selling casettes of this project at the show.
I'm looking forward to a meaningful summer of music, and this is a nice way to kick it off. Hope to catch you there!
