A Letter from Caitlyn Paxson

Dear Reader,

I may be coming to a city near you!

I’m very pleased to announce that I am going on a little tour of Canada and the US to launch A Widow’s Charm into the world, and I very much hope to see you there. Here are the Canadian stops:

I’ve already told you about my first launch event here on the Island in CHARLOTTETOWN, in partnership with my local indie, The Bookmark.

We’ll be at the Haviland Club on March 31 at 7pm, and I’ll chat about the book with local content creator (and fabulous friend) Katharine MacDonald, do a little reading, and then sign books. We’ll also be serving special A Widow’s Charm themed teas! No tickets required.

The next stop is OTTAWA, Ontario, and from here on out, my conversation partner will be none other than my dear friend C.S.E. Cooney, author of the World Fantasy Award-Winning Saint Death’s Daughter!

I am so excited to chat with Claire at all the Ontario and US tour stops – besides talking about A Widow’s Charm, you can expect us to cover topics such as writer friendships and how they sustain us, creating loveable necromancers, and many other topics!

The Ottawa event is at Perfect Books on April 7 at 7pm, doors at 6:30. No tickets required.

Next up is TORONTO! The event is at Hopeless Romantic Books on Queen Street on April 9 at 7pm. You need to reserve a ticket for this one – TICKETS HERE – they’re $5 but you can put that towards a copy of the book (or anything else you want to buy in the shop) when you’re at the event.

Then we’re headed to STRATFORD, Ontario! I spent my last year of high school in Stratford, and if you would have told teenage Caitlyn that she’d someday get to do an event there promoting HER BOOK she would have lost her mind.

The event is at Fanfare Books on April 10 at 7pm. No tickets required.

Then on to the US! I’m very excited to head to TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan next to do an event at the newly-opened Artemis Books and Goods on April 12 at 2pm. No tickets required.

And the last stop of the tour will be in CHICAGO, Illinois, at City Lit Books on April 17 at 6:30 pm. This event is ticketed and you get a copy of the book included in the ticket price. TICKETS HERE
