New docs

If you haven’t noticed by now, I beg you to take a look at our new docs! You can read more about our journey to building them here, but the TL;DR:

• More content, cleaner

• Search is semantic and much faster/better besides

• API docs even more detailed

• It’s easy for us to keep things updated and in sync over time

The new editor continues to get even better

We introduced our new iteration on the editor (lovingly dubbed ‘Fancy Mode’) back in March, and since then it has been a triumph. Just last week we shipped a bushelful of new features for Fancy Mode, including pull quotes, poetry blocks, syntax highlighting, arbitrary color and fonts, and even more. You can read all about that here!

We also published two lovely essays on the decidedly less-technical side of things:

• How great orgs like Stripe build a culture of shipping through emails

• Why the key to any serious long-term endeavor involves pacing yourself

Other stuff

• We updated our Long Term Roadmap to project out through the end of the year. None of this is written in stone, of course, but I’m personally pretty jazzed about three things in particular: Subscriber Autonomy, Naked Mode, and — of course — ActivityPub!

• We added support for the Meta Pixel ID, Slack webhooks, and our magic email address now supports images!
