I have a significant amount of work at Castle Consortia’s Rise show, at 700 7th Street, McKees Rocks, PA - and one sold at the event opening! There’s a ton of wonderful art at this show from a lot of different artists working in different styles, from landscapes to mixed media to stained glass to a sculpture made of lard (It’s much cooler than it sounds). I also have a large piece - Routwash, previously shown at Eberle Studios - that will be up at the Surface Tension show with the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art starting in March - the opening reception is on Friday, March 13, 6-9pm (which coincides with the museum’s Art on Tap: St. Paddy’s Day Whiskey Bash). Associated Artists of Pittsburgh custom framed the art without glazing, to show off the dimensionality and texture, and I’m so pleased with the result.
