Art auction 7/27, art show 7/31-9/4, and more!
Modern Ornament, an art project by burnsbothends
I’ve got two (or three, depending on how you count them) new places my art will be available!
I’m one of the artists in Touchpoint, a collaboration show between Radiant Hall (where I have a residency) and Eberle Studios in Homestead, Pittsburgh. I’ll have four of the largest pieces I’ve ever made at this show - three are 3 feet square, and one is 6 feet square! These works were specifically solicited for this show, and I’m so excited to see how they look once installed. All of these works are for sale. I won’t be at the opening or closing events, but if you’re interested in my pieces at this event send me a message and we can talk.

Next is the one that’s extra - I’ve got a piece of art in a window in Downtown Pittsburgh for you to see! It’s linked to the larger Touchpoint show, and you can see it at 8th and Penn Ave, across from Pure Barre and around the corner from the entrance to The Eagle. This is a smaller piece compared to what will be in the show at Eberle, 19” by 25”, and it’s also for sale. You can see it framed by the second window from the left in the picture below!

And finally, I’ll have a few paintings at the upcoming PGH LesbiYinz Summer Femraiser on 7/27 from 3pm-8pm at Trace Brewing in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh. This event benefits Pittsburgh Feminists for Intersectionality, a mutual aid organization that does good work. I honestly haven’t picked out the art that will be at this event, but it’s a worthy cause, and will be a great time. Since this is a silent auction, there’s a good chance you could pick up a bunch of different pieces for a good price!
