It’s again time to remind you about the Kickstarter campaign I’m running throughout July to see who wants me to make this year’s painting cycle of color, season and planet themed transformative aliens into a calendar poster. As is standard for Kickstarter, it’s all or nothing, so you don’t get charged and I don’t get paid if it doesn’t get at least $4k in pledges by August 1 at 2pm. As of this writing, that goal is only $693 away, and you’ve pledged 83% of the goal, with 12 days to go. I’m not promoting much further than my fairly small established audience and want to avoid directly pressuring anybody, so nothing is guaranteed. If you’ve been keeping it vaguely in mind and enjoy the paintings, now is the time to back! You exclusively can see the secret 9th tier:

Successful or not, I’m holding an open studio event as a Deadline Party. Saturday, August 1, 1-4pm at 43-01 21st St #122A, Long Island City. I will be attempting to livestream but could use help running that and am not totally sure my phone data can handle it.

I expect to finish the 5th painting in the series this week, so backing the Kickstarter now will let you see the BTS process update of it and possibly claim a print. I think it’s my favorite so far!

I will likely have some of Solaroids’ predecessor Lunoids in LIC-A’s Member Salon opening August 19, and in LAcon V in Anaheim Aug 27-31.
