Post-vacation update

Hey everyone!

You may have noticed you haven't heard from me for a while. I apologize for not explaining sooner! I traveled for about three weeks and then was sick when I returned. The model for the upcoming Solaroid has also been traveling, so we haven't yet started the painting for late summer (Saturn / yellow) that should really be finished by only a week from now. It's safe to say that one will be coming late.

I was really hoping to finish a painting of my kid in August, but since I wanted to work from a live pose, that one was subject to the capacity of a 4 year old to hold relatively still in a warm studio, and had to be put on pause.

I am still in a beautiful show at the LIC-A Factory Art Space with many Queens-based artists. That's two green Lunoids, 51T4 and H4M5A. I will be gallery sitting Wednesdays and Saturday 10-2am until it closes 9/26, but won't make the closing artist talks event. Stop by then if you can!

Following the LA Worldcon, I also have 9 matted and 2 sleeved Lunoid prints I've put on sale in my store for $35 and $20 respectively, as well as the framed original of 51M for $2200. Those will ship from my parents in California. Stick with the default "wall readiness" option.

I hope to be back on track with 2 Solaroids in October, and hopefully finishing the kid portrait. I also have a long overdue final Analog Imagination painting, and Pleistocene Paleofacture. If you can spare a little each month, I appreciate if you subscribe to my Patreon, where I share process videos, high res images, more in depth discussions of my work, and prints on request for $5+.

Tender feelings,
