What did we learn from the September event?

Hello <>, So the Apple event came and went. Let's compare go over last month's predictions. ...Honestly probably not much. Since the iPhone X, we've seen little changes when it comes to the iPhone. ... The iPhone, while it's most successful product, has plateaued. The closest preview of this was this year's WWDC Keynote. The iPhone has plateaued but I think it's interesting they branded the over $1,000 phone has the pro model and emphasized photography. It's a smart move. Also this may be the right time to think about having an app since most iPhones folks use now are fairly mature and stable. I don't think there will radical changes to the iPhone in the 2-3 years. This year we see rumors regarding: 2/3... Not Bad 👍 Apple is more focused in general on: I think this still holds true. The iPhone is still the big cash cow for Apple but growth is going to be in those markets and technologies.

  • So what will we learn from the September 10th event?
  • How will it affect businesses?
  • How will it affect developers?

  • a third lens for better photos ✅
  • perhaps a new Apple Watch ✅
  • maybe new AirPods?? ❌

  • Wearables (Apple Watch & AirPods)
  • Pro Hardware like the iPad and the Mac
  • Machine Learning and Augmented Reality
  • "Services" (Video Streaming, Music, Games, App Store, etc...)

If you are interested in learning more, check out my episode on the September event....

Advanced Audience Targeting

with Chad Munce

October 9th

We are happy to have Chad Munce, Digital Sales Manager for Nexstar Media Group speak on Advanced Audience Targeting. This will be ****.

The promise of using advanced targeting with your digital marketing efforts is to be a “no waste” media by only sending your message to those most likely to take action. Auto dealers know the minute you start your online search for a vehicle, and aggressively go after your business. As a small-medium size business, how can you compete? The good news is that it does not take a huge budget to be very effective when you are going after the low hanging fruit. This discussion will focus on the most effective ways to target your most valuable customers.

If you are doing anything with audience targeting, I highly recommend****. If you can't please check out the Lansing Marketing Hacker YouTube Channel or Lansing Marketing Hacker FaceBook Page for the video of the event.

Hopefully, we'll see you there. Leo
