Issue #79
Hello everyone,
I’ve been continuing my work on Bushel lately and using the latest technologies from this year’s WWDC. As you may know I like breaking my codebase into smaller pieces. This is where a concept I’ve learned from Majid Jabrayilov and Gio Lodi comes in -Microapps.
Rather than building a monolithic app, you can break down the functionality into lightweight modules. Microapps are a way of organizing that.
In the latest article we talk about the benefits, both business and technical, of microapp architecture and how to decide whether it might be a good choice for your development needs.
The biggest and most obvious benefit of microapps is that when your entire app is broken down into single-function parts, building each part, testing it, and adjusting it as needed can be done very rapidly.
…
This also makes microapp architecture a good choice if you’re developing an app that:
- Requires a lot of small, discrete tasks embedded in the UI.
- You plan to scale or add lots of additional functionality over its lifecycle.
If you are looking for a way to better organize your apps, you’ll want to check this article out.
