I love the bold voice of Anthropic’s Dario Amodei. He says LLMs like Claude will rewrite 90% of the world’s code. Yet MIT just reported 95% of GenAI pilots fail—so which is it?

After thousands of code reviews, I know one truth: code carries the fingerprints of its maker. It’s part logic, part art. AI can churn out the factory work, but the craft—the kind you notice in a Barcelona window or a chair built to last—still comes from human hands.

The question isn’t whether AI will write code, but whether we’ll still recognize the craft when it does.
