March 3, 6:30-8:30pm @ King elementary: Join the conversation about local transportation funding and weigh in on a variety of options and opportunities at an open house in your district.


March 4, 6-7:30pm @ Alberta Rose Theater: City Club's invite you to meet District 2 City Councilors Sameer Kanal, Elana Pirtle-Guiney, and Dan Ryan at this special event presented by City Club of Portland's Program Committee. REGISTER HERE

Join the Air quality/traffic study in Boise - Concerned about air quality or speeding cars on your street? Sign up to be a part of an air quality/traffic study by students from Lewis & Clark College. You don’t have to live on Skidmore to participate.


Mural Contest! The Boise Neighborhood Association is inviting neighbors to submit design ideas for a future street mural at a future four-way residential intersection in our neighborhood. Submissions due June 1st  Learn more here


NECN Community Small Grants is open! Submissions due April 17


EMSWD Space Grants Open - Up to $2500


Girls on the Run Greater Oregon. A nonprofit afterschool program, currently partnering with Boise-Eliot/Humboldt Elementary. Learn more about the program and how to get involved.


BikeLoud is offering one-time grants of up to $500 to fund projects that support biking in Portland—education, safer streets, tactical urbanism; we want to hear your ideas. Read about the program here, then fill out the form describing your proposal.


PSA - Asbestos is common in Portland homes. Repeated exposure to asbestos can cause mesothelioma. See this helpful Guide about asbestos in homes to protect yourself from exposure to asbestos. The good news is asbestos is only a danger if it is disturbed.

Become a NET member, join the next cohort, meet neighbors, learn life saving skills!

  • FREE training that will provide you with the core skills you need in order to respond safely and effectively to multiple types of hazards.

  • You must apply here.

  • Training is ~28 hours provided by PBEM.
