Just wanted to thank everyone that has supported this adventure happening, for all of us that were so fortunate to be along. Jennie and Bob, Tom and Shiela, everyone who did all the boat jobs and shopping trips and sorting through propane fittings and jamming food into strangely-shaped cubbies and all the rest of the things that make the moments of serenity and perfection possible in the mixed bag that is boat life. All of the support that I don’t even know about. Friendship and patience from the other crew. Most of all thank you to Naomi, chillest captain, dearest friend, for inviting me to another chapter of our overlapping sailing lives. Fair winds Bluebird! Mauruuru! -Ellen
I want to second Ellen’s gratitude to everyone who helped this trip happen. Jennie Bob, Tom and Sheila so many thanks infinite amount of support and enabling of this trip, so many things and ways I know and so many things I found never know. All the folks who helped with logistics, getting us essential parts with no notice. Folks who answered emails in the wee hours of the morning giving us everything from weather to crucial information about the boat, making repairs possible. Thanks to the patient and even keeled crew. Thanks to all the friends ant home holding down our farm while we take this adventure.
