Hi all! Happy Friday the 13th! While I don’t have a full post for you today, I will have one tomorrow for Valentine’s Day, and I have a very special announcement today!

So, as some of you might know or remember, So Desensitized is turning two years old at the end of April, so in about ten weeks. And while that may seem like a long time from now, what I have planned is going to take a while, so I’m announcing it here. So. Drumroll please…(🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁)

This year, all of you (my faithful readers) are going to decide what this year’s anniversary is going to be! Now, you don’t have end all be all free response kind of power, but there are SIXTEEN different things for you all to choose from, presented in bracket form below:

So how this is gonna work, is voting will be on my Instagram story in the form of a poll, with options getting progressively knocked out by popular vote, March Madness style. The beginning pairings are as follows:

Battle Royale vs. Hellblazer

Hellboy vs. It

Child’s Play franchise vs. Twin Peaks

John Bellairs vs. Stephen King

Sleepaway Camp vs. The Silence of the Lambs

Gravity Falls vs. Over the Garden Wall

Costume Design vs. Music Design

Friday the 13th vs. A Nightmare on Elm Street

Each round, half of the options will be eliminated and the other half will progress to the next round, where they will be pitted against the other winners, until there are only two left - with all of you deciding every step of the way. There will be one round per week, so every Friday for the next four weeks, starting today.
