Hi all, and happy new year! Sorry for not posting in a while, I got sick and then it was Christmas, but we’re back now to make some quick plans for So Desensitized 2026!

So the first change being implemented this year is already in effect, as today is a Saturday, which is when I will be posting from now on. Every other Friday was getting to be a bit much, so now it’s every other Saturday!

Also, for this year (and, of course, it’s just the beginning so we’ll se how it goes) every post will also come with a book! So, there’s gonna be the main post about whatever movie or show or theme it is, which will begin with a little bit about whatever horror book I’ve read in the past two weeks, or one I read a while ago that’s related to the topic. If the topic already has a book (i.e. Carrie, etc.), the book section just won’t be there, and there might be a special edition of the post that includes the book in comparison with the movie or show. 

There will still, of course, be special posts for holidays, etc. that may offset the planned schedule a little, but you all have regular posts, Saturday reading, and new book recommendations from So Desensitized to look forward to in the new year! Happy 2026, and stay spooky!
