I hope everyone has had a lovely holiday season, and wish only the best for all of us in 2026.

2025 was a challenging year (for everyone, I think.) But! I finished a new series. I took up gardening in a serious way. And I survived a month and a half of banging as our house got re-sided.

For 2026, I really want to focus on building community. I miss the early days of the internet, the days of fandom forums and webrings and (yes) Livejournal. Where it felt like we were groups of friends hanging out, talking together about things we loved, rather than desperately shouting into the faceless void.

To that end, I’m dusting off my Patreon. At the paid tiers, I’ll be serializing fiction, both pre-release content you can read early, and annotated versions of published books. This year you’ll see weekly chapters of Serpent’s Kiss—the first book of my queer, kinky, epic Space Opera series, and annotated chapters of Twisted Magic and Twisted Loyalties.

What I’m really excited about, though, is what will be happening at the free tier. In addition to just chatting about things I love (video games, gardening, etc), I’ll be hosting a book club, rereading some old favorites and really digging into why those books were important to me!
