One platform note: Meta expanded its Muse agent for small businesses on Sept 29 with 15 connectors (Shopify, Stripe, QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Slack and more). Analysts point out Muse doesn't answer inbound customer chats on WhatsApp — that job stays with Meta Business Agent, which Meta says is used by over a million businesses. Sources: The Star.

We re-checked eight recent launches (including TikTok's Shopping Assistant, Wayfair and Angi's ChatGPT sponsored agents, and Braze's Conversational Agents) — still no independent hands-on reviews. Platforms checked: Freshworks, Decagon, Meta Muse, Kore.ai and Gupshup.
