(We are in the Whalebone neighbourhood - address provided upon RSVP)

Leeroy Stagger is a beloved, award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter, producer, and master storyteller whose music moves fluidly between folk, roots, and rock ’n’ roll. Inspired by artists like John Prine, Nick Drake, Tom Petty, and Joe Strummer, Leeroy has spent more than twenty years touring North America and Europe, building a deeply loyal following along the way.

His songs are written through the lens of a spiritual path shaped by addiction, recovery, and hard-won clarity. With honesty, grit, and grace, Leeroy cuts straight to the human condition in a way only a seasoned traveler and artist can.

Over the years, he has been signed to True North Records and Danny Goldberg’s Gold Lake Records, and has toured or shared stages with artists including Steve Earle, Josh Ritter, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Frazey Ford, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, The Drive-By Truckers, and Jason Isbell. He’s equally at home in a living room with 50 people as on a festival stage with thousands.

Now based back on Vancouver Island, Leeroy raises his kids, produces records at his studio Neighbourhood Recorders, and hosts the weekly Dirty Windshields Radio Hour on CKUA. In 2026, he continues his songwriting journey with a new album, Pilgrimage.

This will be a close, attentive evening of songs and stories — the kind that linger.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to houseconcerts@birdsongisland.ca.

We have more shows on the near horizon, so stay tuned if you can’t make it this time!
