Website Updates

As well as some visual (and accessibility) polishes, the website now lists the games and vendors that are fully confirmed. As you can see we have a huge variety of games, so there will be something for everyone. And more to come!
If you haven’t heard of a given system, or maybe don’t have a lot of experience with RPGs in general, fret not: our GMs will walk you through everything you need to know!
Signing up: Closer to the con we will give folks the option to sign up for their favorite games.
Utterly Sold Out
Yes, it took less than a week for this convention to sell out. We hoped it would be popular, but even so, it surpassed our expectations by far. If you didn’t manage to get a ticket, we’re trying to help:
Send us an email at info@bircon.berlin, and we’ll put you on our waiting list. Should any tickets become available, we’ll let you know.
If you can no longer make the con for whatever reason, email us, and we’ll refund you and pass your ticket(s) on.
Next year we’ll be greatly expanding the scope of the convention.
Do you want to be a panelist?
Do you have a ticket and are interested in taking part in a panel? We’re looking for panelists for sessions on writing and editing games and how to be a better player. But we’re also interested in in other topics you’d like to run. All panelists will receive a food and drink voucher.
RPG Raffle
While we’re still finalizing the exact nature of this raffle/lottery/tombola, we can confirm that we will have one at the con, and that it’s going to have awesome prizes, donated by our supporters. We’re talking special editions, crowdfunding exclusives, and a lot more. More details on this soon!
Our Con Location: Tales Untold

Have you been to Tales Untold, Friedrichshain’s premier RPG and boardgames café? It’s open from 10:00 six days a week, serves great coffee, local beers, and has tasty snacks. You can borrow games from its library, or hire the bespoke RPG room (pictured above) to give your game an extra special ambiance — trust us, it’s awesome.
On October 19th it is going to be brimming with people, games, vendor, and panels. We can’t wait.
That’s it for this issue of the BIRCON newsletter. Feel free to leave a comment, or email us at info@bircon.berlin.
