The Big Info Pack

Ladies and tenors, sopranos and deep apiarists,
BIRCON 2026 is upon us! In a mere two days, at a very early hour for a weekend, we’re opening the doors for the biggest 2 days of international pen & paper gaming and assorted activities in Berlin! Here’s everything you need to know.
Timings
The venue opens at 09:00 on Saturday morning, and closes around midnight. The last admission will be at 21:15. After the Tales Held Dear show, the afterparty starts in the lounge area.
On Sunday morning the venue opens at 10:00 and closes shortly after the last round of games ends at 18:30, with maybe just enough time for one last round of shopping at the vendors’ and artists’—don’t miss out!
Venue Entrance
Access to the convention is via Rollbergstraße 26, 12053 Berlin. There is a construction site in front, but the entrance is clear, accessible and well signposted.
Check-in
Inside the main entrance you will find the check-in desk. Please show us your ticket (on your phone or printed out—you can find a PDF to download on your ticket page on TTRPG.EVENTS) and you will receive a stamp for the day. Please show the ticket again the next day for a sparkly fresh stamp. You may then come and go as you wish during the event.
Our staff will be taking pictures during the event, as might be participants. If you absolutely must not appear in any published photos, please pick up a “No Photos” pin at check-in and wear it prominently. And we ask anyone taking snaps to please honor the pins.
Floor Plan
Here is the preliminary floor plan. Check the website for the most up-to-date one.
Provisions
Vollgutlager has two bars serving an assortment of drinks running throughout the event. Furthermore there will be food on offer, including tasty waffles on a stick, US and Korean style hot dogs (vegan and regular), snacks, and more. Food is served until 20:00 on Saturday and 18:00 on Sunday, drinks are served throughout the full opening times. Bar takings subsidize our venue costs, so don’t be afraid to bring a healthy hunger, and lubricate your precious speaking voice with drinks generously.
The Schedule is a Living Thing
Our schedule is packed and most games are very full, but bear in mind that some folks might change their mind and switch enrollments, even at the very last minute, so do keep an eye on it, especially if you’re looking for another session.
And here is our plea to everyone: please keep your enrollments up to date. If you no longer want or can attend a session you were enrolled in, please un-enroll, so someone else may take the spot. This also avoids unnecessarily empty seats at the tables.
Contacting the GMs
Many of the GMs have entered their games in the #games-bircon2026 channel on our Discord. Feel free to jump in there to chat directly with the GMs you’re due to game with, especially if you have questions or just want to share your excitement!
Code of Conduct
Lastly, don’t forget that we have a strict code of conduct in place and any breaches might result in immediate eviction from the event. BIRCON is designed to be a safe, inclusive, and creative space.
Support
BIRCON staff and volunteers will be wearing badges, and we'll have two tables on the floor staffed at all times. If you have questions or run into any issues at all, we're there to help.
That’s it for now, see you on the weekend!
—The BIRCON team.
