New year, new BIRCON
Howdy there,
You didn’t think we’d organize one awesome con and then leave it at that, did you? 😄
BIRCON 2025
We took all of your feedback from last year, and with that in mind, we’re making this year’s con bigger, and badder. But by “badder”, we mean better. Not, like, macho. Unless you like macho, then maybe we can make it macho too. Might need some outside consultants then though.
We’re currently scouting out various locations. We loved Tales Untold (still very much do!), and they were great to us, but it’s obvious that there are far more gamers wishing to get their RPG on than we can safely cram into one beautiful café. (But did someone say, pre-con games? Shh, too early to talk about that.)
Date-wise, we’re aiming for end of September to mid October. Once it’s finalized, you’ll be the first to know of course.
In the meantime, we’re putting the finishing touches on the official BIRCON Discord server, where we hope to welcome you soon.
But first:
Who do you want to see at BIRCON 2025?
Whether it’s a famous author, designer, or artist, or a local or far-flung shop, let us know! Between us, we know many folks, and it never hurts to ask.
Would you like to hear what the organizers in this newsletter are up to?
It’s no secret that many of the BIRCON organizers have anywhere from one foot, to the whole body and mind, in the RPG industry. Perhaps you’d like them to wax lyrical about their latest, greatest heartbreaker here? Or maybe not.
What, no photo or illustration? A newsletter issue with just text?!
That’s right! Until next time—the BIRCON crew. 🤘
42 Southside Fantasy would be a cool local shop to feature.
They're down in southern Tempelhof, so may well be people's FLGS without them knowing it.
I’d love if if the newsletters stayed exclusively for con things. I have a chronically full inbox unfortunately!
Hei! I'd love to dm a shadowdark table!
