We bring great and important tidings: session enrollment is live, we have a new livestream at very short notice, we’re doing a very special Chosen Path event, we have a map, oh, and we’re sold out*.
(* There might technically still be a couple of tickets left, but really, we’re pretty much sold out.)

Session Enrollment!
Head on over to our website (and if you haven’t yet, register for account, ideally with the same email address you used for buying tickets, and you’ll be all set up), and marvel over our schedule, which is verily bursting at the seams.
How does enrollment work, and how do I know which session I got in?
Glad you asked! At its core, just look through the schedule, and enroll for the sessions that you fancy attending. Naturally these are all limited to a certain amount of participants, but your enrolling to them signals your interest. Two days before the con we’re running a lottery, and through an algorithm designed to please as many people as possible, we’ll allocate players.
After this lottery, it’s possible that you didn’t get into any games (for example, if you didn’t enroll into any, or just two, and the gods of random didn’t pick you for those), but fear not! Once the lottery is finished (two days before the con, i.e. Thursday), all remaining spaces are first come, first served.
Finally, if all else fails, we’ll have a big signup board at the con for any last minute slots or alterations.
In Summary
Absolutely register an account, without one you cannot sign up to any games. If you cannot use the email address used for buying the tickets for the account, contact us, so we can associate your ticket(s) with your account.
If you bought multiple tickets, absolutely assign them to individual participants, so they may register their own account, and thus enroll in sessions.
Go to the Sessions page on your dashboard, pick all the games, panels, tournaments you love, and whatever is on offer, and enroll in them. For best results, make it 4–6 choices at least.
On Thursday we will run an algorithmic lottery that will attempt to allocate as many people as possible to their choices.
After the lottery, all remaining spaces are first come, first served.
Before the lottery session capacity remains unchanged, as no allocations are final yet.
The Schedule is a Living Thing
We might still be adding events panels, performances, workshops, and games to the schedule. As such, for maximum up-to-dateness, check back in often before and after the lottery.
Totally Sold Out
Well, yes, but as teased above, we technically have a couple of tickets left. But what it means is that at some point today (most likely), that’ll be that, and we’ll be out of tickets.
Because of the nature of signing up for sessions and all that, we can’t sell tickets at the door, you really need a ticket in advance, so this is your very last chance - for this year! With the growth we’ve seen over the last two years, we’re sure to return bigger (and yet again, better) in 2026!
Chosen Path Interactive Fiction
Dive into interactive stories. Play alone or invite friends to shape a story with multiple characters — whether you're exploring distant galaxies or serving croissants in a Parisian café.
For creators, Chosen Path is a Story Engine. Define characters, conflicts, mechanics, possible endings, and much more. Chosen Path generates prose and images, applies mechanics, and coordinates multiplayer games.
For BIRCON, we invite you to create your own scenarios either before the con or in the first half of the day, along the themes of “classic fantasy” or “cyber”. Then, in the second half of the day, we invite players to play the scenarios in single or multiplayer games and vote for their favourites. The winner will get a golden ticket to the afterparty, and two runner-ups will get tickets for the BIRCON epic raffle.

Here it is. The completely accurate* map for BIRCON 2025.
We’re spread over 3 levels. The ground floor hosts the exhibitors and artists (the market!), the main stage, and the bar. Floors 2 and 3 (looking identical) host the gaming rooms (“battle halls”) and event chambers. And unlike most RPG maps, we have lavatories!
(*We reserve the right to make last minute changes because we overlooked something or totally missed the obvious.)

Christian started as a prolific D&D 5e adventure writer, before hanging up his day job and switching to writing, designing, and illustrating full-time. His current systems of choice: Mörk Borg, CY_Borg, Death in Space, and similar. One of the best in the biz.
