Join us this Saturday for our annual community ride to Manhattan Summer Streets!
Community Bike Ride - Saturday August 16 @ 9:30am
This Saturday we do our longest ride of the season! We’ll head out from Braddock Park, ride across the George Washington Bridge, and enjoy the car-less Summer Streets of NYC. The ride ends at Brookfield Place ferry terminal.
¡Este sábado hacemos nuestro paseo más largo de la temporada! Saldremos de Braddock Park, cruzaremos el Puente George Washington y disfrutaremos de las calles de verano de Nueva York abiertas para gentes. El recorrido termina en la terminal de ferry de Brookfield Place.

Feasibility of Bus Rapid Transit on JFK Boulevard
In July, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy released the following statement regarding a possible Bus Rapid Transit route on JFK Boulevard:
“Making Hudson County’s streets safer for pedestrians, bikers, and motorists has been a priority since day one of my administration. Whether it’s launching the Hudson County Vision Zero Action Plan, implementing common sense safety improvements on county roads, or greenlighting a shared use path on the 14th Street Viaduct, I am proud of our work to increase safe mobility for all.
I have instructed my team to devise a mockup of what JFK Boulevard could look like if Bus Rapid Transit was employed on this major north-south artery. This mockup would allow residents to visualize both the benefits and possible challenges of dedicated bus lanes and how the road would need to function differently to execute this innovative transportation system option.”
Protect Braddock Park Green Space
While we fully support North Bergen’s plans to provide full-time preschool for 3 and 4 year olds, we just believe schools should be built in the community, not inside of Braddock Park. County parks are intended for all residents to enjoy for recreational purposes.
