The story
Aileen Wuornos's story is both evergreen and, compared to the turn of the millennium, dusty from disuse. I feel like, thirty years ago, she was a known cultural quantity, like civilians knew at least the broad outlines of Wuornos's story, and she was considered a subject for serious narrative consideration.
