The best true crime of the year? The worst? We want to know.
the true crime that's worth your time
Hello, Best Evidence readers, subscribers, and supporters! Somehow, we have staggered our way to the end of another year, which means it’s time for our annual Year in True Crime Review. This time, in addition to the usual roundup of thoughts from pundits across the genre, we’re soliciting the opinions of the folks with the power to make or break a true crime property: you.
We’re hopeful that you’re up for sharing your thoughts on the best true crime TV, films, books, and podcasts of 2024; the worst of it; vintage properties that you discovered (or rediscovered) this year; and what you’re looking forward to the most.
We’ve created a form for all those deep thoughts, and more; it’s online here. Please answer as many or as few of the questions as you wish — we know we’re asking for a lot of opinions, and we don’t expect you to have stances on them all.
We'll be publishing your responses later this month on Reality Blurred and via this newsletter, so please do remember to answer the “how you’d like to be credited” field. Links to promote things dear to you, your social accounts, or other projects, are welcome!
As always, thanks for being an active participant in the Best Evidence game, and for sticking with us after all this time. There’s no way we’d be able to do this thing without you.
