The crime
Prostitution and procurement, ostensibly, although Scotty Bowers seems to have avoided getting caught up/arrested or charged in vice-squad sweeps in the middle of the last century.
Bowers also seems to have avoided confronting the “tricking” he did as a tween — with and for Catholic priests — as abuse, or a situation in which he couldn’t consent meaningfully.
