Plus: Irishman beef!
the true crime that's worth your time
You can watch the first episode of Viceland’s new true crime series, The Devil You Know, right now. The show won’t officially drop until August 27, when (per a press release from the outlet) the five-episode series will be released on various online platforms as well as on the Vice’s site. Its focus is self-described Satanist John “Panzuzu” Lawson, who -- according to the Camel City Dispatch, which tirelessly covered the case -- “re-invent(ed) himself as a Satan worshiping drug dealer” named after the demon from The Exorcist who lived in a home filled with “Hot Topic Satan stuff.” Lawson eventually charged with first-degree murder, after he was linked to the death of at least two people. (Don’t click this link unless you want to know how it all ends.)
The first installment of the show is already available on YouTube (that’s it, embedded above) and on Vice’s site. After its release, viewers can also catch “full uncensored episodes” (whatever that means) via iTunes. -- EB
