The story
Penguin Random House released Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice last week. Much of the coverage makes sure to mention that the author, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, insisted to anyone and everyone – her co-author*,
Amy Wallace; her editors at PRH; her family – that, should she not survive until the proposed pub date, the book should go ahead.

*the text uses the term "collaborator," but under the circs I don't love that word choice
