I watched one night when I was catching up on things. Yes, I knew the story and I kept hearing the small, childlike voice of Mike’s mother detailing her campaign to keep his then-disappearance in the news in my head (despite the fact that this piece used an actress to read her words). The only thing that made this worth watching was any time Kathy was on screen - fortunately, a lot. I heard a separate interview with her and she detailed her abusive marriage with Brian. I think this docuseries could have been improved by a greater focus on what a horrible narcissist Brian was, and how that ultimately contributed to the breakup of his second marriage as well. So I think this could have had a slightly greater focus on Brian, and would have benefited from that. Certainly some cold, cold people involved.
