And art theft, and campaign graft
the true crime that's worth your time
TNT’s Rich & Shameless returned for a second season on Sunday. I must have known about the first season and then just forgotten it existed. Not a surprise, based on Futon Critic’s logline — “Produced by Raw, this original true-crime anthology series tells the shocking, real stories of the consequences that befall great wealth in the sports world.” — which makes it sound like watered-down 30 For 30. …The second season, anyway; the first doesn’t seem to have confined itself to sports.
But the first is itself available on HBO Max, and while some of the second-season topics — Dennis Rodman; Eric Naposki — look intriguing, I thought I’d check out the single sports-focused ep from S1, “Where Did NBA Star Brian Williams Go?”, before setting my DVR.
