In honor of the untimely passing of Ray Liotta — another alum of my hometown — last week, we thought we’d ask: What’s your favorite organized-crime property? (Based on real-life gangsters, that is. Henry Hill, not Jackie Junior.)

I think GoodFellas is my number one, but I also enjoyed Fear City, and the book that stood out in a very crowded field for me was a Scarfo-crew bio, Blood and Honor. Got any mob-wife crimoirs or little-seen docs your fellow readers should check out? Tell us in the comments! — SDB
