The story
I can’t really say that The Lodger adds anything for a Ripperologist, but if you have any interest in true-crime docudramae and how they’ve evolved — or haven’t — over the last century, the Ivor Novello vehicle some call Alfred Hitchcock’s greatest silent film is 90 minutes well spent.
