Your enjoyment of Ghosthunter might be tempered by its regular references to the paranormal. It’s not like the podcast’s name isn’t a solid warning that spectral speculation lurks within -- and if you find ghost chat tolerable, it’s easy enough to get past that stuff to the meat within.
So here’s the deal: Australian security guard Jason King came to the attention of documentarian Ben Lawrence nearly a decade ago, when a newspaper article claimed that King has seen his dead brother’s ghost, a sighting that spurred him to launch a haunted home management business. The more Lawrence talked to King, the more he realized that the story wasn’t a ghost one, it was a true crime one, as King’s extremely corporeal father reveals itself to be the scariest character in the story.
