Gaslit: "She's completely insane; I love her"
Plus a Berlinger retrospective, "The Big Conn," and list debates
the true crime that's worth your time
The Paris Theater has put together a Joe Berlinger retrospective. Pinned to the 30th anniversary of Brother’s Keeper, “New York City’s longest-running arthouse cinema” plans to screen “a selection of films directed by Joe Berlinger as well [as] a selection of films curated by Berlinger from which he found inspiration.”
The Paris is NYC’s last single-screen theater; Netflix saved it from extinction in 2019, but Netflix itself is taking on a dodo-esque cast the last few days, so if you live locally and want to enjoy events like “Crime + Justice Pioneer: A Joe Berlinger Retrospective,” I wouldn’t dally.
