Updates, At Last
This is the first email I’m sending from the new service (buttondown) since Tinyletter shut down service back in February. Excuse any weird formatting errors because I’m still figuring it out.
Since it’s been about three months or so since the last email, there’s lots of new stuff. First, I was in a bike accident back in February and fractured the elbow on my drawing arm. I’m just about back to full mobility, and have some new popping sounds and soreness when it rains.
Original Drawings
I’m still posting a few small drawings on my webstore every week. You can find those at this link: https://bensears.bigcartel.com/category/original-art. Here’s a few recent examples:

Frontier Activities

Frontier Activities, a new zine featuring some western drawings, was released recently. It’s 36 pages, risograph printed, and available here:https://bensears.bigcartel.com/product/frontier-activities
The Gleaming Corridor - Collected Dots

I’ve got a new album of music up for preorder. It’s a collection of songs recorded october 2022 - october 2024, with some overdubs done in the last few months. 10 songs, over an hour of music, etc. Available now digitally, or on cassette (ships in June). Check it out here: https://thegleamingcorridor.bandcamp.com/album/collected-dots
Hearing Things

Finally, the book I worked on last year is available for preorder. It’s about a kid who’s a field recording enthusiast, and the antics he gets into with his cat. It’s published by Toon Books, and is available through major retailers and independent bookstores. Support the independents if you can!
I think those are the big updates, for now.
