Geo-blocking leaves UK-based Trezor & Ledger users without access to educational crypto content.
Hey all.
If you're based in the UK and you own a Trezor or Ledger, there's a decent chance you've already hit a blank page where an article should be. Both companies are now geo-blocking educational content for UK visitors - not just guides to buying and selling, but pages like "what is a UTXO?", "what is multisig?", and "best practices for using a hardware wallet".

This is the FCA's financial promotions regime in action. Any content "capable of having an effect in the UK" can be in scope, and the penalty for getting it wrong is severe. Geo-blocking everything is the path of least resistance.
The result: UK users who already own the hardware now can't access the documentation to use it safely.
