Summary of the survey results and next steps

Hi everyone,

Thanks for answering the survey. Here is a summary of the results, and what I am going to do about them:

Meetup

• Time: The clear winner is Sunday afternoon/evening. If we do it at a park, given current light hours, I think 2pm-7:30pm would make sense. People can come and go as they please, and this should satisfy most people.
• Frequency: monthly is a clear winner.
• Announcements: All of you voted for e-mail. This e-mail list will be used for it. There are also archives, so the official link (to post, say, in the Facbeook group) will be a link to the announcement with the time, date, and other details.
• Location: Belmont/San Carlos and Redwood City are the top-runners. I am probably going to schedule the next one in the same place (Twin Pines, Buckeye picnic area).
• Activity: Unstructured conversation was the clear winner here.

Resources

A lot of you wanted both a Discord and a web-based discussion board. Expect announcements of both in the e-mail which announces the next meetup.

Scheduling

I will figure out scheduling details, Discord, and discussion board by the end of next week, and send out details.
