Belles and Chimes Philly News!!
This is the first issue of our newsletter, woo hoo! Planning on using this newsletter to share Belles and Chimes Philly events, other Women’s pinball events, and other local pinball events. If anyone has something they’d like shared in a future newsletter, please let me know and I’ll include it in the future!
Belles and Chimes Philly Presents: Back to School Strikes Tournament, Sunday August 18th, 2024 at Barcade Fishtown!
Want to play pinball and donate to a good cause? Look no further!
Barcade opens at 12 pm, sign-ups begin at 1 pm, and our tournament will begin at 2 pm.
$10.00 entry fee that goes to cash prizes, medals, a donation to a local school’s DonorsChoose Project, and IFPA.
Tournament format:
We're doing a 4 strikes group knockout tournament
In groups of 4, those finishing 1st and 2nd get 0 strikes, those ending 3rd or 4th get 1 strike.
In groups of 3, those finishing 1st and 2nd get 0 strikes, the person ending 3rd gets 1 strike.
While this is a Belles and Chimes Philadelphia event, this tournament is open to all cis and trans women, non-binary and gender non-conforming players. So if you've attended a Belles and Chimes Philly event previously or not, all are welcome!
As always, all skill levels welcome! If you’ve never participated in a tournament before, no problem!

DonorsChoose is a national non-profit dedicated to connecting classrooms in need with funding. Educators are able to request a variety of classroom materials based on the needs they see in their classrooms. When I was a teacher I had many DonorsChoose projects filled and can attest that it really did make a huge impact on what my students and I were able to accomplish in class.

Another Philly Pinball Tournament!
Jumping ahead to September, Brian from Philly Pinball Club is hosting a strikes tournament at Barcade Fishtown on Sunday September 15th..This tournament is open to all players and will surely be a great time! IFPA Tournament Page

Haven’t yet confirmed with Barcade, but looking to have a Halloween themed tournament Sunday October 20th at Barcade Fishtown. More news to come!
