An event in San Francisco, and signed books anywhere in the world
Hello there! I have information pertinent to both those who live in the Bay Area and those who do not. That...covers the bases pretty well, doesn't it?
If you're in the Bay Area, I'm on the lineup for this month's fantabulous occurrence of Writers With Drinks, a literary variety show that is exactly what it sounds like: book readings, a bar, and very good times. It's hosted by the amazing Charlie Jane Anders, and this month's show includes Alyssa Cole, David D. Levine, Dean Rader, Danna Staaf and Lauren Sanders, all reading aloud for your entertainment. The event will be taking place at the Make-Out Room this Saturday, December 9. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30 (I'm told seats fill up fast, so grab 'em while you can). It's $5 to $20 to get in the door, but nobody is turned away for lack of funds.
If you're not in the Bay Area, the good folks at Borderlands Books (one of my very favorite bookstores) will be setting up shop at the aforementioned event. Not only will I be signing stock for them, but they tell me that if you get in touch with them by tomorrow, December 8, they can set aside a book for me to personalize for you (while their stock lasts, of course). And yes, they ship internationally. It's a holiday miracle. Simply call or email them, and they'll help you out. If you miss the December 8 cut-off, not to worry. They may still have signed books in stock, so give them a shout.
No matter where in the world you hail from, I wish you the happiest of holidays, and a most excellent 2018.
Cheers,
Becky
