The Daily Red Flag #001 — The CAPTCHA that hacks you

THE SCAM A hacked website shows a fake Cloudflare CAPTCHA that tells you to prove you're human by pressing Windows + R, pasting text, and pressing Enter. The pasted text silently downloads malware. This is called ClickFix — and your clipboard becomes the hacker's delivery tool.

THE RED FLAG Any CAPTCHA that asks you to open the Run dialog, Terminal, or press keyboard shortcuts is fake. Real CAPTCHAs live inside the page. They never touch your keyboard.

THE RULE If a "verification step" asks you to press Windows + R, run a command, or paste anything — stop. Close the tab. Your reflex is the malware.
