September 2024 Recap
Hi everyone!
MAG West was incredible! Thanks to everyone who came by and gave the new demo a try. We had an absolute blast watching everyone play; and appreciated all the thoughts and feedback.
We made a few more adjustments, and the new demo is now out on Steam! A lot of the gardening mechanics have changed, as we mentioned in July, notably:
💧 No more watering! - We’ve been working on improving player control, and with all your feedback, we determined watering wasn’t doing what we wanted to in the game.
🌿 Plants grow - Over time and as you play them, plants will grow and upgrade. They’ll start from seed to seedling to full-grown.
🪓 Reworked tools - We reworked access to tools. Now you have limited removes every turn. More tools and abilities coming soon!
There have been many other changes, but unfortunately, there’s not much new content. That’s changing, though, as we’re turning our focus towards finishing the full game. Look forward to future opportunities to beta test!
