BIG arcade this weekend. Tickets low!
With literally no exaggeration, we’re sitting just 5 days out from what’s set to be the biggest day that we’ve ever had at the arcade. It’s our 3rd year anniversary, and we have plenty of gifts for you.
Here’s a rundown of Saturday…
1. A free screening of Arcades & Love Songs, from the team that brought you King of Kong 🎬 5-30. Note: Spaces are limited, register here→.
2. First 25 to the screening get a beer on us. 🍻
3. Screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Walter Day 🎤
4. Ending on classics competition, on Donkey Kong & Pac-man, overseen by Walter Day himself🕹️
How cool will it be to host a competition with the original scorekeeper himself- we have to pinch ourselves for this one, honestly. This is your chance to meet a genuine legend of gaming in person at Banana Block this Saturday.
For those of you who don’t know — Walter founded Twin Galaxies in 1981 and is widely recognised as the original scorekeeper of competitive gaming. Maybe we’ll run a competition or two on the night 🤔. Stay tuned!
Walter is scheduled to join us on Sat 9th May from 5pm-late. We couldn’t be prouder to welcome Walter to Belfast to hang out with you all.

You know we’re big fans of big 4 player games. So we’ve been working hard on bringing you another one.
We’re not looking forward to finding a spot for this beast on the floor, but we are looking forward to seeing you enjoy playing it.
