I am writing this newsletter atm because I won't be going to eat for a few more hours. Praise my dedication to the letter. There might be changes to it in the future, but I'll get to that later. For now let's get into the stuff.

I love youtube-dl but it's pretty intimidating for people who don't know how to or aren't used to the command line. This gives it a graphical user interface you can use instead, making it a lot more approachable!

Status Update
No lie this was the hardest Ramadan I've ever experienced in my life, even more than the ones I had to do when I was commuting to work and school. But by the end of it things have thankfully come together and I'm feeling pretty good after what I would describe as an abysmal March LOL. Work truly beat the brakes off of me but we stay surviving.
I mentioned potential changes to this newsletter. The reality is that I am legit writing more than I ever have lately. Just this week I've written 12,315 words, and this year I've written 86,694 words. I attribute a lot of that to the shift of my style of writing in Obsidian, focusing less on "finished pieces" and more on just writing whatever, whenever, with as much or as little depth as I want. Connecting the pieces together when it best suites me. Granted, a lot of those words are my journal entries as well as projects for work, but I'd say it's probably a 70:30 split between the creative and the drudgery.
All of this is to say that I think I might have enough to start posting weekly again. Not definitive, and this doesn't even matter that much I think. But it's something I'm thinking about - especially now that Ramadan is over and I can maybe use my brain after work again. So if you see another email in your inbox next Sunday, that's why.
