Cover Reveal - Why I Hated You So Much

Sorry for the influx of emails, but I just HAD to do the cover reveal for another queer book during pride month! This MM angel x demon novella is such a fun little treat ☺️

Blurb
Malcifer is a minor demon with a major problem. Scapegoated for his boss’s mistake, he’s been relocated from the city to the place he hates most—the quaint town of Littleton.
Remiel is an overachiever even by angel standards. Cold, cruel, and unyielding, he reinforces God’s order with an iron hand.
At least, that’s how he was ten years ago, when Malcifer only barely escaped Littleton with the child he was protecting.
Thrust back together, the angel and demon clash like the opposites they’ve always been. But in ten years, a lot can change—
Even an angel.
WHY I HATED YOU SO MUCH: THE FALLING OF AN ANGEL is a demon (M) x angel (M) story series (22k words) featuring an enemies to lovers romance novelette and two spicy extended epilogue stories.
Behind the scenes
Stay tuned for the release date and ARC sign-ups! I may do ARCs for this one manually, since I can only run one BookSprout campaign at a time--or I may push out the release date to run them sequentially.
The core novelette (11k words) was originally released as a newsletter incentive around the start of this year. The two extended epilogues (11k words total) are brand new! They’re short stories expanding on Malcifer and Remiel’s relationship, so they read as (very smutty) extended epilogues with continued character development.
This story is near and dear to my heart, as it captures some of my feelings about the religious environment I was raised in. Suffice to say, it joins a proud tradition of angel x demon stories where the angels aren’t really the good guys.
Given the recent surge of mask-off anti-queer rhetoric, it feels especially meaningful to share this story about the sacredness of being true to yourself, the complexities of repression, and the power of love to change the unchangeable.
Other happenings
I’m experimenting with my social media strategy, and I recently saved up enough spoons to open up Capcut and discover the joy of ✨creating memes✨. Hilarious memes. I am very funny. You’ll find those on my Instagram and also YouTube? And TikTok, even?? (I'm doing it! I'm figuring out the clock app! Sort of!)
Stay tasty,
