Who’s Adeline Alchemy?
In case you missed it, Adeline is my (Bethany Baker’s) new pen name for Spicy-Cozy Horror! The Ms. Hyde to my Dr. Jekyl, if you will.
Sometimes I have (unhinged) ideas that don’t fit into a monster romance story.
Things like haunted sentient objects, transforming trinkets, and stalker succubi…
“Cozy” means these stories aren’t particularly scary. You’ll get vibes reminiscent of Goosebumps, What We Do in the Shadows, or the Addams Family. While our characters might be bewildered or embarrassed, they’re always having a good time.
“Spicy” means these stories are still very adult. 😏 Our characters are getting off, one way or another.
“Horror” means things get weird. Squishier. Stranger. Stickier. You might bump into some icks or skin-crawling premises—in a fun way, of course.
