Presidio Heights Edwardian Sells for $14.7M — Nearly $4 Million Over Asking in 21 Days

A six-bedroom home on Clay Street closed September 24 for $3.7 million above its $11 million list price, the latest illustration of extreme overbidding in the city's northern luxury neighborhoods.

A six-bedroom, 5,230-square-foot Edwardian at 3460 Clay Street in Presidio Heights closed on September 24 for $14.7 million — roughly $3.7 million, or about 34 percent, above its $11 million asking price after spending just 21 days on the market. The deal works out to approximately $2,811 per square foot.
