SF Girls Chorus Is Selling Its Hayes Valley Home — a 1912 Druid Temple — for $13.75 Million
The five-time Grammy-winning ensemble listed its 36,000-square-foot headquarters at 44 Page Street last week, aiming to find one building where it can finally perform, rehearse, and operate under a single roof.

The 36,000-square-foot building began its life in 1912 as the ceremonial seat of California's Druid order before the chorus purchased it in 2005 for $5 million.

Immediately below the City's survey information, HVNA — the permit holder for the closure, branded as Hayes Promenade — described its goal as creating "a pedestrian-forward model of Hayes Street that works for pedestrians, businesses, and some motor vehicles when necessary" rather than continuing a weekly closure.
