Glen Park's Bosworth Bridge Gets a Sky-Blue Makeover — and a Party to Match

A years-long community art project has transformed a plain concrete span into a mosaic-covered landmark, with a public celebration set for September 26.

Glen Park's Bosworth Pedestrian Bridge at Lippard Avenue has completed a dramatic transformation, emerging from a plain concrete span into what organizers call a first-of-its-kind tiled bridge in San Francisco. Fave, the queer mall and screen-print shop at 329 Noe Street, will close on September 26, less than three years after opening in April 2024 in the former Great Tan space. Owner Danae Lintz posted news of the closure in the store's window, citing insufficient foot traffic and rent that exceeded what sales could support.
