Love of the Gods Book Two - TWBHTP
Now this. This is the novel I’ve been most excited to write all year.
If you’re new, or you’ve forgotten, my author goal for 2024 is to fully write four full length novels - one in each quarter. Let’s recap.
They are:
Book One of an vampire duology (CIG; RIG - Book & Duology Titles Unreleased). Finished On March 20th. It’ll be released in 2028.
Book One of the LOTG Series: Until I Have Healed You - I finished it on June 20th (I’m sensing a trend here) It’ll be released November 22, 2025.
Book Two of the LOTG Series: (TWBHTP - Title Unreleased) Maybe I’ll finish this one on September 20th? But the goal is to have it completed by September 30th. It’ll be released in 2026.
Book Three of the LOTG Series: (TFWFAW - Title Unreleased). The goal is to have this finished by December 31st. It’ll be released in 2027.
Yes, I know that writing four books in one year is an insane goal, yata yatta yattttaaaa. Let’s get to the point of this email.
The current work in progress is TWBHTP. It’s the love story of Regos - Theos’ brother. If you don’t remember who Theos is go back to the prevous newsletter!
Regos. He’s the star of book two. Y’all this entity is morally black - not morally grey. AND the premise of the story???? Incredible. Never been done before. Never before achieved.
The tension? The stress on my poor little writer heart from trying to keep up? The multiple POVs? The relationships that are expanding and growing and being revealed? The hard-headed badass FMC? Y’all. Help! This book is running up my blood pressure, lol!
I started working on it in the last couple days of June, then had to stop for a couple of days because of the hurricane that just passed through my country. I’m already at 13,000+ words. Its like the story is trying to consume me. Swallow me whole.
Lord knows it’s going to be overwhelming to write. It’ll be the darkest of the books I’ve written this year so far, and also the one with the stakes that are through the roof, and the really big moving parts in terms of conflicts that have to be resolved at the end. I’m kinda scared. But I’m definitely excited!
