If I’m honest, one of the things I find a little annoying in the author space is authors constantly complaining about marketing, because there’s ways it can be done and done well.

I’m going to be a bit of a hypocrite now because marketing for me is a slow boat to China, and patience isn’t one of my strong traits. I make pretty posts, I post reels, and my reach is only incrementally improving. What am I doing wrong? That’s what I keep asking myself.

I know marketing is a tail event in most cases. That consistency is the key that turns the engines on. But boy oh boy is it irritating when you’re in the midst of it, slugging along.
